Ask Vedor
Vedor is the assistant in the left column of every page. It answers questions about your project from your ChatGPT answers, linking each claim to the answer it came from, and it can do things in the product for you when you ask.
Ask a question
- Type in the box at the bottom of the chat and press send, or click one of the suggestions. Suggestions change with the page you're on.
- Vedor replies with the key number first and links to the answers behind it.
- Click New chat to start fresh.
To hide the chat, click the panel icon next to the project name. Click Ask Vedor to bring it back.
Have Vedor do the work
Just say what you want, for example "Check all my questions again" or "Do the easiest recommendation for me". Vedor can:
- start a check of all questions or some of them;
- suggest new questions (it shows them first and adds only the ones you approve), add and check questions, or stop tracking them;
- track a competitor, hide a brand as "not a competitor", or bring one back;
- regenerate recommendations, add your own, edit one, or mark one done or not done;
- write an article for a recommendation or for a question where you aren't named;
- use any other page for you: brand facts, AI readiness, AI Writer, keywords, your other projects, inviting your team, and showing a full ChatGPT answer word for word;
- prepare a report, summary or plan and email it to you ("send me this");
- repeat a request on a schedule. See Scheduled tasks;
- open a support ticket for you.
Buttons marked Generate with Vedor or Do it with Vedor on the pages hand that job to the chat.
Attach a file
Click + next to the message box to attach a file, for example customer emails or chats to import as questions, or a data CSV for a report. Vedor files it on the right page.
Gotchas
- Vedor asks you first before anything that publishes, sends to other people, or deletes.
- It only ever emails you, never anyone else.
- It can't create projects. Use New project in the project switcher. See Create your first project.
- It can read your plan and credits but can't buy credits or change your plan. Do that yourself in Account settings → Billing.
- It can't change anything outside Vedor.
- It keeps working if you leave the page or close the tab. Long jobs like a check or an article show progress in the chat, and you can keep asking other things meanwhile.
- Chat replies use credits.
- Your past chats are in Account settings → Vedor Chat History. Only you see them.
