Recommendations
Recommendations are specific things to do to get named more often, written from your latest ChatGPT answers. Find them on Grow → Recommendations. The three with the most impact for the least work also appear under Do this first on the Overview.
Read a recommendation
Click a card to open it. Each one shows:
- A type: New content, Page update, Get listed or Technical fix.
- Impact and Effort, each from 1 (low) to 5 (high), and the AI score points it can add.
- The expected outcome in bold, and what to do and why.
- Because of: the competitor or site that prompted it.
- Based on: the questions and the exact ChatGPT answers behind it.
Labels: Yours = added or edited by you. Site check = found by the AI readiness scan; it drops off once a scan sees it fixed.
Act on it
- Do it with Vedor: Vedor carries out every part it can in the product and tells you what's left for you.
- Write article (New content and Page update only): drafts an article in AI Writer. Once written, the button becomes View article.
- When you've done the work, click Mark done. Its points show as pending on your AI score until the next check measures what changed.
Done recommendations move under Done at the bottom. Click Not done to reopen one.
Add, edit or regenerate
- + (next to Generate with Vedor): write your own, with type, impact, effort, title, what to do and expected outcome, then Add.
- Edit (pencil) and Delete (bin) are on each open card.
- Generate with Vedor rewrites the suggestions from your latest check.
Gotchas
- Regenerating keeps the ones you added, edited or marked done.
- Marking one done schedules its questions to be asked again 7 and 21 days later, free. The card then shows Did it work? with answers naming you before and after.
- The AI score only ever shows measured points. Pending points become real when a check confirms the change.
- Regenerating recommendations can use credits. The ones made automatically after a check are included in the check.
