Scheduled tasks
A scheduled task is a request you ask Vedor to repeat on a schedule. Each time it runs, Vedor does the request again and emails you the result.
Set one up
- In the chat, ask for what you want and how often, for example "Every Monday, send me my top 3 recommendations".
- Vedor confirms the task, how often it runs (every day, week or month) and when it first runs.
Each result arrives by email to your own address and shows in the bell under Recently finished.
See or cancel tasks
- Ask Vedor "Which scheduled tasks do I have?"
- To stop one, ask Vedor to cancel it, for example "Cancel my Monday recommendations email".
Gotchas
- Tasks belong to the project you set them up in and are emailed only to you.
- Each run uses credits like a chat reply. If you are out of credits, the task skips that run.
- If you are deactivated or the project is removed, its tasks stop.
- The weekly visibility and good-news emails are separate and go out by themselves. See Reports and emails.
