Create your first project
A project tracks one brand in one market. You give Vedor your website, it proposes your brand, competitors and buyer questions, and you review them before anything is created.
Sign up
- On the sign-up page, enter your work email and click Create account.
- Open the email we send and follow the link to set your password. The link works once, for 7 days.
- Fill in your name and company. Company ID (IČO) and VAT ID are optional and are printed on your invoices. Click Continue.
Set up the project
- Type your website address and pick the Market (Slovakia or Czechia). If you add your IČO, Vedor fills in your legal name and address from the company register.
- Press the arrow button. Vedor reads your site; this takes a minute or two. You can leave the page and come back.
- Review what Vedor found:
- Brand and Category: correct them if needed.
- Competitors: untick any that aren't real competitors, or type a competitor's website and click Add.
- Buyer questions: Vedor writes these in about a minute, grouped by topic. Untick the ones you don't want, or type your own and click Add. The counter shows how many are picked, up to 100.
- Click Create project.
- On the Overview page, click Check now to ask ChatGPT your questions. The first results appear within a few minutes.
Gotchas
- Questions should not contain your brand name. Buyers who don't know you yet never ask that way, and branded questions inflate your score.
- You can change competitors and questions at any time later, on Visibility → Competitors and Visibility → ChatGPT questions.
- Start over throws away the review and lets you enter a different website.
- Vedor (the chat) can't create projects for you. To add another project later, click the project name at the top left and choose New project. Only owners can add projects once the workspace has one, and your plan sets how many you can have.
- To remove a project, open the project switcher and click Remove project (owners only).
